Hero Call

Your data is yours

Years of sessions is a real thing to own. We're not going to charge you to get it back, and we're not going to lose it.

  1. 01

Your data is never held hostage.

  2. 02

Export everything, free, any time — on every tier.

  3. 03

The app works with no signal.

  4. 04

Stop paying and nothing is deleted. Only new capture is limited.

What happens if you cancel

You drop to the free tier. Every session and every hand you recorded stays exactly where it is, and stays readable. What changes is how much new capture you get — not whether you can see the eight years behind you.

Come back in six months and it's all still there. That's the whole answer, and it doesn't have an asterisk on it.

That's the part that took the longest to decide and the least time to write down. See what it records

Offline isn't a feature, it's the normal case

The rooms where you'll use this are basements with one bar of signal. So starting a session, logging a hand, adding a rebuy and ending the session all work with nothing connected. Sync happens in the background when there's something to sync to.

Nothing waits on a server to let you record what just happened at the table.

Action on UTG: the table with each position labelled and the blinds posted, and fold, call or raise along the bottom
A running session: the clock at 3:54:00 and net +$67, a button to log a hand, and rows for hands, notes, tips, stack updates and table expenses

Backed up, and on whichever phone you're holding

Sign in and your history is on the new device. That sounds unremarkable until you've watched someone lose four years of sessions to a phone upgrade, which is the single most common thing people say about the trackers they've abandoned.

Hero Call's home screen: +$4,180 over the last 30 days, buttons to start a session or log a past one, and the most recent hands and sessions
The sessions list filtered by stake, each row showing the game, the room, the net and the day it was played

Your notes on other players stay private

A player record in Hero Call is your private note about someone. It isn't a profile they own, it isn't claimable, and it isn't shared. Two people who both track the same regular keep two completely separate records that never meet.

That's a deliberate limit rather than a feature we haven't built yet. Linking records across accounts isn't switched off — it isn't possible in the data model. We'd rather store your notes than operate a database of behavioural profiles on identifiable people who never agreed to be in it.

Prices aren't set yet, so we're not going to invent them here. What is settled: export is free on every tier, including after you cancel. We will not paywall your own records.

We're making a point of this because the loudest complaint in this category isn't that logging hands is hard. It's people losing their history to an update, or being asked to pay a subscription to export the records they'd already spent years entering, just so they could leave.
A recurring theme in reviews of other trackers.

And someone answers the email

There are two of us and we both read it. That's a low bar, and it's worth saying out loud because a surprising number of the apps in this category have stopped clearing it.

How to reach us

What format does the export come in?

Your sessions and hands as structured data you can open elsewhere — not a screenshot and not a PDF of a table. It is free on every tier, including after you cancel.

What happens to my hands if I go back to the free tier?

Nothing. Everything you recorded stays, and stays readable. The free tier limits how much new capture you can do, not what you can see.

Can I delete my account and everything in it?

Yes, and it means what it says. Ask us and it goes, rather than being flagged as hidden somewhere.

Does it work without a signal?

Yes. Starting a session, logging hands and ending a session all work with no connectivity. Sync is a background convenience, never a gate — card rooms are basements.

Who can see the notes I keep on other players?

Only you. A player record is your private note about someone. It is scoped to your account, and linking records between users is not possible in the data model rather than merely switched off.
