The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store one thing: your email address. No name, no tracking profile, nothing bought from anyone else.
We use it for exactly one purpose — to email you about Hero Call. We will not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone else for their own use.
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you. If you'd rather it were gone immediately, email info@herocallapp.com and we'll delete it and tell you we have.
The address is held by our email provider and on our hosting, both in the United States.
Notes you keep on other players
This part is worth stating now even while the rest is in draft, because it's a design decision rather than a legal formality.
In the app, a player record is your private note about someone. It's scoped to your account. It is not a profile that person owns, it isn't claimable by them, and it is not shared with other users. Two people who both track the same regular keep two entirely separate records that never meet — linking them isn't switched off, it isn't possible in the data model.
We'd rather store your notes than operate a database of behavioural profiles on identifiable people who never agreed to be in one.
The app — to be published before launch
Placeholder. The full policy will cover what the app stores, where it's stored, how long it's kept, cloud backup and sync, analytics, your rights over your data, and how to delete your account. It will be published here, at this address, before the app is available.
What's already settled and will not change: your data is exportable free on every tier, nothing is deleted if you stop paying, and deleting your account deletes what's in it.
